Pop Warner is one of the youth football organizations within the United States. Of course, it is not the only organization involved with youth football tournaments; it is the largest and one of the oldest. They currently have over 425,000 members in 44 states and several countries throughout the world. They are involved with various competitions worldwide. These competitions vary in size, but one thing is certain, the event will be enjoyable and the regulations will be strictly followed.

Youth football tournaments take place on different weekends and at various times of the day, but a major one in Florida usually takes place at the end of November after the Thanksgiving holiday. The selected teams will play a few games, usually 2 or 3; they are matched according to age and sometimes weight as well. Once the games have commenced, they are placed into different categories based on their track record, age and strength. The majority of these tournaments have profound limitations; they will require confirmation of a birth certificate as well as current weight on the day of the game.

These tournaments have a lot of cost associated with them such as hotel expenses and food costs. Therefore, the youth football teams tend to have a variety of fundraisers to support these expenditures.
